At Jubilee Academy we use Jigsaw  PSHE  it perfectly connects the pieces of Personal, Social and Health Education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development into easy to use lessons.  SMSC and British Values are mapped in every lesson  and the scheme is RSE/Relationships and Health Education compliant for Sept 2020. Reception to Year 6 engage in this whole-school approach, using the well-structured progressive lessons. All year groups work on the same theme (a puzzle) at the same time. Providing a whole school focus for adults and children alike.  There are 6 puzzles in the jigsaw and progress in sequence from the beginning to the end of the academic year.

Jigsaw is a unique, spiral, progressive and effective scheme of work, aiming to prepare children for life, helping them really know and value who they truly are and understand how y relate to other people in this ever-changing world. Each class has a jigsaw friend which is used as the talking object in circle discussions, allowing children to offer a suggestion, experience or feeling relevant to the discussion.
